Updates:

Elder Nathan announced on Sunday April 26, that we have finalized and begun sharing the Lead Pastor job posting
As we wait to receive applications, we are wrapping up the “Preparation” phase of the process by aligning on a rubric to guide the way we interview and evaluate candidates.

How you can pray for us:

Navigating the “Search & discernment” phase will require a lot of time, patience and humility from each member of the committee. Please join us in praying for unity as we seek God’s wisdom, and that our hearts would be in a posture of hopeful anticipation as His work unfolds!

Over the past four weeks, the committee has:

Gathered weekly in prayer for our group, our staff and elders, our congregation, and our future lead pastor, trusting God to guide us with humility and hope as we look toward the future of this church family
Reviewed our long-term commitment and established a clear timeline with key milestones to keep our search on track over the next 12-18 months
Aligned around the unique strengths and opportunities we see in our church, and thoughtfully defined the traits, responsibilities, and expectations we're looking for in a new lead pastor
Refined and finalized our church profile and job description documents, capturing who we are and what we're called to

Next steps:

Reviewing the consolidated church profile and job description with the elders before posting. We will notify the congregation when the post is live!

Search Process

This section is a high-level overview of the steps guiding our search.

We anticipate the journey will take somewhere between 12 to 18 months, though ultimately, we are trusting God's timing and are not bound to any fixed timeline.
