Small Group

Adults will have small group following the worship service on Friday evening, Saturday morning & Saturday evening.

WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP will meet at Crystal Mountain.

MEN’S SMALL GROUP will meet at Mount Hermon. (Downstairs Community room in Lodging area)

Adult and Youth will have group games on Saturday, 3-5:30pm at Mount Hermon. (Downstairs Community room in Lodging area). 

FAQ

  • Location: Glacier Peak
    It is on a hill, parents with young children may want to bring strollers or wagons

    each family and married couple will get their own room

    hotel-style; each room has 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed, and full bathroom

    towels and bedding will be provided and an extra mattress can be provided upon request

    Room assignments will be given when you check-in

  • Location: Glacier Peak

    singles will be assigned 3-4 to a room, same gender

  • Children in 5th grade and younger will be sleeping with their parents

Lodging

  • all meals will be provided on Saturday (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and Sunday (breakfast and lunch)

    because people will check-in at different times on Friday evening, dinner will not be provided. Please plan to eat dinner on the way or pick something up on the way.

    everyone will eat meals together (adults, youth, and kids)

    meals will be served family style

  • You should have indicated all dietary restrictions when you registered for the retreat and those needs have been communicated to the retreat center

  • Breakfast 8am

    Lunch 12pm

    Dinner 6pm

    Please do your best to be on time to ensure you are getting a full meal and not missing worship

  • Meals are a hour long so if you come within the hour you should be able to get food, but because meals are served family style we cannot guarantee what food will be left

    retreat staff will allow people to finish eating their meals and only ask you to leave if you are done eating and they need to clean up

    snacks and instant ramen will also be available if needed

  • we will provide snacks that are accessible throughout the retreat

    water will be available to refill water bottles

    hot water will also be available for tea, coffee, and instant ramen

  • You are welcome to bring whatever food and snacks you’d like, but please note that we will not be able to refrigerate anything for you. There are no mini-fridges in the room.

    Please be mindful of other people who may have allergies and be sure to clean up after yourself and your kids

  • Yes, a fridge will be available ONLY for medical or baby milk/food needs.

    Please be sure to label all items with first and last name.

Food

Youth

  • Location: Copper Mountain

    gender separated rooms with same-gendered chaperones

    bring sleeping bags/bedding and towels-not provided in rooms

    communal bathrooms

  • Youth do some joint activities with adults and have some activities for just youth

    Together with adults: friday and sunday worship, games

    Youth only: Saturday morning and evening worship

  • Yes, only for Pre-K/4yrs to 5th grade

    Location: Mt. Si

    Parents will need to drop-off and pick-up their kids

    Evening worship will end when adult evening worship ends (~9pm), but feel free to pick-up your kids earlier if needed

NLK

  • Indoor: heated pool*, large gym, hangout meeting spaces

    Outdoor: fire pits-Do not try to light fire pits by yourself. Please inform a retreat staff member and they do it for you.

  • Saturday from 3-5pm

    Adults and youth will play games together in Glacier Peak

    NLK (Pre-K/4yrs to 5th grade) will play games in the gym

    18 months to 3 years will not have childcare provided during this time

  • Yes, of course, as long as it is appropriate for a retreat setting
